PCT S.A. (Piraeus Container Terminal S.A.) announces the Scholarship Program of 2025 totaling €20,000 for newly admitted students from the Municipalities of Perama and Keratsini-Drapetsona. The 5 scholarships, each worth €4,000, will be awarded to four first-year students from Greek public high schools in the Municipality of Perama and one student from the Municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona, or to residents of the above municipalities who graduated from Greek public high schools and achieved high scores in the National Examinations in June 2025.
Through this initiative, now in its second consecutive year, PCT S.A., a subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Ports Ltd, seeks to empower and support the local community in which it operates by rewarding excellence and effort among the new generation in their first academic steps. This year’s program marks a significant strengthening of the institution, as the value of each scholarship has increased from €2,500 to €4,000, and the total amount of the program has doubled to €20,000. In addition, for the first time, the Scholarship Program has been extended to the neighboring municipality of Keratsini-Drapetsona.
Education is a central pillar of PCT’s philosophy and activities. Through a comprehensive program of initiatives, the company aims to promote social well-being through education and to create better prospects for the future of young people.
Applicants are invited to submit their applications by October 31, 2025 via PCT’s website, www.pct.com.gr/scholarships, along with the required supporting documents as specified in the program’s announcement. The selection of scholars will be based on academic performance and social criteria.
The Company’s Management stated regarding the program: “Supporting the local community and the younger generation through education is a priority for PCT.
