BIMCO Piracy Clauses Revised

BIMCO's piracy clauses, first issued in 2009, have been revised and updated to reflect changes in trade practice and specialist insurance cover as well as a number of other issues.
The 2013 editions of the Piracy Clauses for Times Charter Parties, Single Voyage Charter Parties, and Consecutive Voyage Charter Parties and COAs are now available to download from the BIMCO website. Members are strongly recommended to use the latest editions of the Piracy Clauses in their charter parties.
Explanatory notes summarising the key changes to these Clauses can be found in Special Circular No. 7, dated 19 July 2013, which also contain the full text of all three Clauses for ready reference.
