Y/KNOT Invest secures second charter for tanker AMETHYST at US$175,000 per day

Y/KNOT Invest announces a new charter agreement for its recently acquired tanker AMETHYST with one of the world’s leading oil and petroleum products trading groups. The agreement provides for daily revenue of US$175,000 over a period of 1.5 to 2.5 months.
The second charter will commence in early November, directly following the vessel’s first charter, which concluded on 29 October, ensuring continued commercial employment for the vessel.
The new agreement secures substantially higher daily revenue, capitalising on a strong tanker market supported by geopolitical disruption and longer shipping routes. This development strengthens the Group’s revenue and underscores Y/KNOT Invest’s ability to identify and capture market opportunities.
AMETHYST successfully completes first charter, generating US$4.32 million in revenue
The first charter of AMETHYST, which joined the Company’s fleet in late June, lasted 96 days and generated total revenue of US$4.32 million, with average daily revenue of US$45,000.
Y/KNOT Invest’s shares were also included in the Athens Stock Exchange General Index, effective from the trading session of 27 October 2026, marking another milestone in the Company’s presence in the Greek capital market.
