With the departure of Silver Ray from Lisbon on April 15th, Silversea — the leading experiential luxury and expedition travel brand — kicked off its largest-ever Mediterranean season. Five Silversea ships will depart on 71 voyages in the region before the end of 2025, immersing guests in 95 destinations. For the first time in the company's history, Silversea will welcome guests in the Mediterranean throughout the winter season, with Silver Muse remaining in the region until November 2026.
"With a famously diverse offering of iconic cultural experiences, captivating history, and beautiful architecture, the Mediterranean is one of the world's richest cruising regions and our guests' enduring interest in its charm has inspired our largest-ever Mediterranean deployment for summer 2025," said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea. "With five ships across varying classes, Silversea's range of voyage options in the Mediterranean is truly unique and perfectly responds to our guests' preferred experiences."
Silver Ray, Silver Dawn, Silver Muse, Silver Spirit, and Silver Whisper will connect travelers with the most authentic experiences in the Mediterranean from April 2025 through to November 2026. In addition to the region's most iconic cities, highlight destinations will include those inaccessible to large ships, such as Saint Tropez, Seville, Sete, Monopoli, and Menton, among others.

CADIZ, SPAIN - Rare Barrel Tastings & Gourmet Lunch at an Eight-Generation Family-Owned Sherry Producer
Sanlúcar de Barrameda is a quaint coastal village in the southwest corner of Spain with an outsized culinary & cultural heritage. Facing the Atlantic, the bounty and quality of its seafood is prized throughout Spain, earning the village the official title of Gastronomic Capital of Spain in 2022. A few miles inland, lush rolling vineyards of the palomino grape find their ideal expression in the limestone terroir to produce sherry. This experience celebrates four elements - sun, salt, wind, and land - and invites S.A.L.T. guests on rare barrel tastings and a multi-course gourmet lunch in the spectacular 18th century Bodega Hidalgo, currently run by the eighth generation.
MARSEILLE (PROVENCE), FRANCE – Multi-Course Seasonal Lunch in Chef Paul's 17th Century Provençal Farmhouse
Silversea's guests can join Chef Paul Griffon, co-owner of one of Marseilles' hottest bistros, for a multi-course seasonal lunch in his family's 17th century farmhouse — set among centuries-old olive groves in a pristine country setting. Travelers will discover the essence, bounty, and beauty of the Provençal table: from seasonal aromatics and organic vegetables sourced directly from the family garden to the estate's extra virgin olive oil and locally made honey. They will learn the building blocks of the Provençal kitchen alongside Chef Paul, from Provençal classics like anchoïades and fenouillades to ratatouille and almond croquant. Warm and welcoming, Paul spent three years in a Michelin Star restaurant.
