The online shipping newspaper "TheSeaNation" organises on Wednesday June 5, 2019 at Eugenides Foundation in Athens (Greece), the Greek Shipping Summit: "2020: The Wind of Change in Global Shipping".
The Conference aims to explore the demands arising from new regulations that will significantly affect the operation and structure of the industry.
Among these regulations, is the introduction of new sulphur-reduced fuels from 2020, which is based on relevant decisions by the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and will cause intense turbulence in all shipping industries, making 2020 a turning point for the future of shipping.
